Rural Services Eskisehir Research Institute was established in 1953 as Irrigated Agriculture Experiment and Demonstration Station, with addition of soil conservation activities it was renamed TOPRAKSU Research Institute. The working area of the institute are in Eskisehir, Kütahya, Afyon, Bursa, Bilecik, Usak, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Yalova provinces. Central land of the institute in Eskisehir is 43.7 ha. In addition to the central land, there is 4 ha of land at Afyon-Selevir Research Station.
