The Institute was established in 1962 with an area of 204.8 ha in order to search solutions against erosion problems which are major consideration of Turkey, to provide sustainability of soil and water resources, thus, to struggle efficiently and consciously against desertification. The Institute provides; data for investment projects for sustainability of natural resources, and services to farmers for soil tillage, irrigation, drainage, plant nutrient and struggling against erosion. |
